I'm an IVC MEMBER and wish to register for the next
First Thursday!

All NON-MEMBERS wishing to attend IVC's next First Thursday, please register HERE!

Join us!
(It's easier than ever by credit card!)

Become a part of our 'citizen diplomacy' network
--  nominated for the 2001 Nobel Peace Prize --

Become personally involved with international relations
& help us promote a positive U.S. image abroad

Welcome a stranger and send home a friend!

As an IVC member you play an important role in improving the U.S. image abroad while making friends around the world.  It's serious business, but you'll have a great time doing it!

Only IVC members can host State Department guests in their home.  Only IVC members can attend ten First Thursday receptions at no cost - plus bring a new friend each time!

Memberships for individuals & families and young professionals* range from $60 for individuals & $75 for families to $100, $125  &  $250.

Professional/business memberships for executives range from $150 to $1,000 for corporations.

For more information, contact Alan Hatfield at 215.683.0992 or
alan.hatfield@phila.gov

Individual members can join or renew their membership through our secure site. Similarly, professional/business members can join or renew safely online. Both, have another option - call Alan Hatfield (215.683.0992) with a credit card.  We're a very "personal" organization and want to get to know you and your international interests.

Membership in IVC provides you with opportunities to meet people from all over the world and from the Greater Philadelphia area.

As a 'citizen diplomat' you have a tangible way to improve the image of the U.S.  You can host visitors in your home for dinner or lunch, take them sightseeing to the Liberty Bell, become a mentor to an international graduate student, chat with emerging leaders and Consuls at our "First Thursday" receptions, meet members of parliament or other dignitaries from abroad at our private receptions (free for upper level members) and network with international graduate students on our International First Fridays (most are free for members).  IVC members enjoy learning about other cultures and meeting some of the most interesting people in the world.
